Artificial method for female contraception

Chemical method
ii) Female
1. Oral pills
It is combination of 28 tablets in which 21 tablets are active pills (synthesized from of oestrogen and progestrone hormones) and seven tablet are Iron tablets. It prevents conception by narrowing the cervix, thickining the cervical mucus and delaying the ovulation cycle.

Merits
1. 99.5% effective if taken daily.
2. Reduce the adbonimal pain during mensuration.
3. It is benifical for the women who have low weight.

Demerits
1. Not effective if not taken regularly.
2. Problem of blood pressure in some female.
3. It may cause nausea, headache, acene.


2. Foaming tablet
It is a vaginal tablet that is kept in cervix of female ten minutes before sexual intercourse. It melts due to body temperature and converts into foam. That make uterus thick and destroy mobility of sperm. It is also called  "kamal chakki" in Nepali.

Merits
1. Useful for female who have vagina dryness.
2. Can be used without medical counselling.

Demerits
1. Ineffective after 1 to 2 hours of using.
2. Irritation in vagina.
3. The users should wait for 10 minutes. So, that couple need patient.
