This method is also known as breast feeding method. Breast fedding at least 8 times in a day and at least 2 times in night, each for 20 minutes suppress the chance of conception by suppressing oestrogen and progesterone which are essential hormone for ovulation.
- Merits
- Applicable for the mother with neonates.
- Easy and can be used anywhere.
- Demerits
- Difficult to maintain privacy.
- Frequent breast feeding may seem impractical for mother.
