There are two methods of contraception which are:

• Female

2. Mucus testing method
3. Basal body temperature method
4. Lactational amenorrhoea method (breast feeding method)

→Artificial method

1. Barrier method (condoms)
2. Chemical method (gossypol)

• Female

1. Barrier method (femidom, diaphgram)
2. Chemical method (oral pills, foaming tablet)
3. Injectable method (IUCD-Copper T, Norplant, Depo-provera)
4. Emergency birth control device (emergency combined pills, protective pills)
